The most awaited production to end the FEU Theater Guild (FTG)'s 89th season, along with the FEU Center for the Arts (FCA) is the return of ANG UNANG ASWANG.

Written by Palanca awardee playwright Rody Vera and directed by PETA Senior Member and FTG's Artistic DirectorDudz Teraña, ANG UNANG ASWANG takes place in a forest of wild elements.

The narrative revolves around the enigmatic Aswang, a creature with sharp teeth and a menacing presence, as she takes on a quest for her true identity in an unfamiliar village. As her curiosity about her origins grows, she grapples with the possibility that a horrifying act committed by a young boy may expose her true nature, one that involves consuming her own offspring.

Vera's material delves into themes of fear, hesitation, and self-discovery, accompanied by haunting melodies and the ethereal voices of the chorus, which echo through the forest, harmonizing with the chants of the woodland spirits.

The role of the 'Aswang' will be portrayed alternately by Dianne Andallo (ITHM ’26), Jazzie Alejo (ITHM ’24), Brigitta Marilla (IAS ’25), and Margarita Barrameda (IAS ’26).

Raffaele Pascua (IAS ’24) and Arvin Jade Javier (IAS ’26) will alternate in the role of the 'Aso.'

Davewyn Macawile (IAS ’25) will assume the role of the 'Pusa,' while Jonas Cunanan (IAS ’24) will portray the 'Baboy Ramo.'

Aaron Bayani (FIT ’25) will take on the character of The Binata, while Kesiah Aritao (IAS ’25) will play The Asawa.
