A thesis that is more than relevant, but the film tends to be wary of its structure that we all end up not empathizing with its characters at all.

SUMMARY

2.5MILDKABISERA (2016) tells the story of a family thriving to seek justice in a system of messed up structures and politics. Nora Aunor plays the central character - Mercy- with a refreshing take on characterization, and she builds the narrative through her perspectives, however jaded; however unclear. And this is where the film fails. It falls flat in establishing its intended focus. Clear that the film is about Extra Judicial Killings; a thesis that is more than relevant, but the film tends to be wary of its structure that we all end up not empathizing with its characters at all.
